Well, I was half-right...

Kansas State was the Jayhawks toughest test of the season. Unfortunately, a little too tough. K-State plays very well behind Beasley and Bill Walker (high-school teammate of USC Star O.J. Mayo), and win 84-75. Kansas was never closer than 6 in the 2nd half.

K-State is a very dangerous team...their top three scorers got 67 last night...I'm guessing by the end of the year they will be a top-15 program and possibly even a 3-seed (although more likely a 4) in the NCAA Tourney. Not to mention Beasley is likely the #1 Overall Pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Great skills for the lefty.

Played Basketball with some buddies last night. A guy at Q2 told us a couple of weeks ago about a game he regularly plays in on Wednesday night's, and a few of us have started to come along. Last night we made an all-Q2 team (only 4 of us, so we threw in one of the guys' buddies who came along). We went 1-2...should have won at least our last game to go 2-1. We played very well in our lone win...winning 15-4 by 1's and 2's. It's a really fun game, so we always look forward to Wednesday nights.

On to tonight...the most exciting matchup in the area has to be Bridger at Plenty Coups Boys...Plenty Coups comes in undefeted at 16-0...Bridger at 15-1, with their only loss being to Plenty Coups earlier in the year, 67-61. Plenty Coups scores 83 points per game behind 6'6" Buddy Door and 6'7" Alton Smart Enemy...they're fun to watch...

For the girls...get out to Laurel to see the Lady Locomotives host Columbus...watch Columbus's Hannah Counter...one of the better players in the region...

Back to work tomorrow...but not tonight! So I'm out...goin to dinner. Later!
